Sep/Oct 2026 will be a busy period for international Geodesy in 2026.

There will be three consecutive meetings in Gävle (Sweden) in autumn 2026.

Please join us for:

  1. Tracking and Investigating Geodynamics and Earth Rotation – TIGER Symposium in Geodesy (the 1st symposium of the IAG Commission 3 on Earth Rotation and Geodynamics, in cooperation with the Journees meeting series) – September 28th to October 1st, 2026
  2. GGOS Topical Meeting on Geohazards – October 1st and 2nd, 2026
  3. GGOS Days 2026 – October 5th to 7th, 2026

Dear colleagues (apologies for cross-posting),

 

We will be hosting the TIGER Symposium in Geodesy 2026 in Gävle, Sweden. The symposium is organized by the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) Commission 3 and will bring together scientists working on Earth rotation, geodynamics, crustal deformation, and related fields, fostering collaboration across the many disciplines that study the Earth’s dynamic behaviour with geodetic methods and datasets.

 

Please save the date: September 28 - October 1, 2026

 

The symposium will be limited to 150 participants and abstract submission and registration will begin early 2026. Reminders will be sent via mailing lists when abstract submission and registration open. The website will be updated with additional information closer to the symposium, so be sure to check back for updates.
